"Expanse" Brand Consulting
We run on a partner-first platform.
Our work is built on what clients need from us. Not the other way around. When MEDITECH, an electronic healthcare records software & services company, needed help introducing Expanse, its new EHR web platform, we were ready. Right now, the medical field is undergoing rapid growth, with new EHR platforms emerging regularly. Expanse required an impactful visual identity to set it apart in a crowded market. MEDITECH looked to us as creative partners who could extend the capability of their in-house design team, which is exactly what we did.
As a partner working in an advisory capacity, we helped the MEDITECH team work through a creative approach that delivered results. We started by identifying the goals and values inherent in the product, and then using that brand-specific DNA as a guidepost to create a big idea. Together, we hashed though everything from mood boards to concepts, continually reviewing the team’s work as it progressed. We drew on years of experience to share relevant insights into logos, typography, and imagery as the Expanse identity took shape.
MEDITECH announced their new EHR platform—and rolled out Expanse—at the 2018 HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) Conference, a critical venue for connecting with the physicians and medical professionals who will use the platform. The launch has been successful, with immediate, positive feedback. It’s worth noting that Expanse’s identity is powered by ideas that are big & deep enough to grow with the platform in the coming years. So, positive feedback can keep on coming.
